Recently I spoke on the ‘Today with Pat Kenny’ radio show.
On the show I pledged to take a half cut in salary if I’m voted into the Seanad.
I support cuts and reform in the Seanad.

NUI graduates are having to emigrate because government policy is creating unemployment, also the new government is committed to pursuing exactly the same fiscal policies as the government they defeated, and that’s why they need independents in the senate.
It’s not enough just to educate people, you’ve also got to provide for their employment otherwise the investment in education is a waste.
Our new graduates are the future of business in Ireland, and we should not allow narrow local politics and tax gathering to get in the way of that.
Who exactly is keeping a control of councils?
They’re making decisions off their own bat which is damaging to the greater public. This doesn’t make sense because they are meant to be ‘Public Servants’.
Now that the Dail election is over the danger is that important election promises will be forgotten! This will be fatal.
Business needs lower rates, lower rents and access to credit! What’s happening to all these things.
I’m going to put pressure on the Minister for Local Government, the Minister for Finance, the Minister for Enterprise and Employment.
